Brandon Bueno recently stepped to the first tee at Total Golf Adventures’ Holmby Hills camp, pulled an iron from his bag, swung and watched as his ball flew into the hole. It was the first ace for Brandon, who was 7 at the time, and the first for Total Golf Adventures. All children who participate in TGA’s programs come away with memories. Whether it’s a new friend, a passion for golf or the elation of winning the Trivia Masters, TGA camps have something for all ages and levels of junior golfers ages 5 and up. TGA started in Southern California and now has programs in 40 cities and 23 states, with camps tailored for all skill levels. In the Southland, TGA has taught golf to 5,000 youngsters in San Diego, Orange and Los Angeles counties. During the summer, TGA offers golf camps at courses, schools and parks. During the school year, TGA teaches golf through a five-step program at elementary and middle schools, child care centers, YMCAs, Boys & Girls Clubs, and Parks & Recreation centers. A staff of trained and accomplished personnel provide expert instruction on all aspects of the game, from swing fundamentals to rules, etiquette, safety, course management and life values.
